I can’t believe the holidays are already here! The past week has been a flurry of cooking, baking, traveling to see family, and hanging out with friends. We kicked off the holiday weekend by seeing the Tandoori Knights at the Hi Tone. Not only was it amazing, I got to go onstage at the end! Me and two other girls were supposed to sing background vocals, but we were drunk and clueless. But we did get to dance around a little between Bloodshot Bill and King Khan! Amazing!
We had an awesome Thanksgiving that made me appreciate living close to family even more. Being an hour away rather than nine hours away makes a HUGE difference, especially around the holidays! When we got home last night we pulled our futon out in the living room and napped, snacked on leftovers, and watched TV. Perfect lazy ending to the day!
Today I made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip muffins. I used this recipe, minus the walnuts and raisins, adding in half a bag of mini chocolate chips. This muffin recipe is moist and delicious. It makes a TON though, so halve it if you don’t have a bunch of muffin eaters around.
I have plenty of volunteer muffin eaters around here!

I’m British, but I’m thankful for all the thanksgiving posts, even if I don’t celebrate the holiday itself. This muffin looks great!
Thanks! I love your blog! So many foods I’ve never heard of!
